Each serving provides
5 oz. Cooked corned beef -1 lean
5.3 oz. Cooked cabbage- 2 greens
1/2 cup (rinsed) sauerkraut- 1 green
2 teaspoons horseradish -2 condiments
Add your corned beef to your crockpot minus the added seasoning pack. Add water to the crockpot and turn on high.
Cook your corned beef in your crockpot on high till it falls apart easily. When your corned beef is also completely cooked add your cabbage to the crockpot and cook. Make sure to rinse your sauerkraut to cut down on the sodium. Heat up and add to your plate. When weighing out your corned beef make sure to trim any fat off.
Note: only eat corned beef occasionally because of the higher sodium level.
