Steak and Shrimp in a Cajun Cream Sauce

1 serving


Each serving provides 1/2 lean; 1/2 leanest

1 healthy fat

3 greens

3 condiments


2.5 oz. cooked steak – 1/2 lean

3.5 oz. cooked shrimp- 1/2 leanest

1 1/2 cups cauliflower rice -3 greens

Sauce

1/2 Tablespoon homemade garlic butter -1 healthy fat

1 teaspoon djoin mustard – 1/2 condiment

1 teaspoon lemon juice- 1/2 condiment

1 1/2 Tablespoons light cream cheese – 3/4 condiment

1/4 teaspoon Cajun seasoning- 1 condiment

1/4 cup low sodium vegetable stock- 1/4 condiment

Weigh out 4 1/2 oz. raw shrimp. Cook in a frying pan with your garlic butter. Cook till pink the add you other ingredients and stir to make a smooth sauce. Add a bit of water to thin if you want. My cauliflower rice I just sprayed non stick spray in a pan and heated it up. I grilled my steak on my BBQ


Homemade garlic butter Homemade garlic butter recipe (1/2 Tablespoon = 1 healthy fat)

1 stick of softened butter

4 garlic cloves minced


fresh or dried parsley .

Mix or whip good and store in the refrigerator in an air tight container.

  1. If you do not marinate the flank steak isn’t it tough? What do you do. This looks amazing but I am nervous about making it. Please respond.

    1. Flank steak should be tenderized from the butcher.
